Slowdown hits CV makers

The country's commercial vehicle (cv) makers have been hit hard by the slowdown. Starting April 2012, sales of medium and heavy commercial vehicles (M&HCVs) fell nearly 12 per cent over the same month in the previous year, the fall has been becoming steeper by the month. Slowdown in CV sector

There are worrying signs for the Commercial Vehicle (CV) sector as it grew a mere 2.7 per cent in April-November 2012. Figures released by the Society for Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) for the period show that medium and heavy commercial vehicles saw a de-growth of 16.34 per cent.
